Managed service provider Appia Communications has announced a new addition to its partner roster: CBX Technologies. An IT and professional services provider for the private and public sector, CBX specializes in integrated solutions, particularly in unified communications. Under the terms of the partnership agreement, Oakland, Calif.-based CBX becomes an authorized reseller of Appia’s complete line of managed voice, data, video and network services. Appia’s remotely managed cloud services will likely be a major sales focus for CBX.
CBX brings a great deal of expertise in professional services to the table, and can help drive Appia’s channel sales by offering value-added IT business services such as acquisition planning, staff augmentation, management consulting, network integration and support, especially in unified communications, all prerequisites for making the jump to hosted or cloud services.
That should fit in well with Appia’s focus on remotely managed communication and network services for the SMB market. Appia has been pegged as a provider to watch, garnering accolades as one of the top managed service providers in the world, as well as one of the fastest-growing solution providers in the industry.
