PAETEC (PAET) has been named to the Fortune 1000 for the first time.
Fortune placed PAETEC, based in Rochester, N.Y., at No. 982., because of its 2009 annual revenue of $1.58 billion.
PAETEC was founded in 1998. Over the past 12 years, the CLEC has gained recognition as one of the industry’s top employers and most customer-oriented service providers. Finding a place on the Fortune 1000 gives PAETEC “an unmistakable landmark on the path to our success,” CEO Arunas Chesonis said in a prepared statement.
PAETEC also has been featured on the Deloitte Fast 500; and NYS-SHRM this year and last named PAETEC among the best companies to work for in New York state.
