Red Hat (RHT), an open-source software developer, has revamped its channel program to add a new top tier and three specializations, along with additional marketing benefits. In an effort to encourage collaboration among partners, the new distinctions are intended to help partners grow their open-source business.
The Premiere Business Partner designation will add another distinction to the participating solution providers, and provide them more training and technical and marketing support. The three new specializations – infrastructure, middleware and virtualization – help partners advance to different levels of the program.
