Tinet, formerly Tiscali International Network, announced this week further expansion of its operations in North America.
In the last quarter, the company added 25 long-haul backbone circuits across the United States and opened three additional network PoPs in Newark, N.J.; Dallas and Denver.
Tinet also announced it has started implementing its third NOC, which will be located in New Jersey and, completed in first quarter 2010.
In May 2009, BS Private Equity SpA completed the acquisition of Tinet from Tiscali Group, providing further backing to Tinet’s global expansion.
Tinet’s IP and Ethernet backbone extends across North America, Europe and Asia Pacific and includes more than 100 PoPs.
