Novell has announced the creation of the SUSE appliance program – a move the company hopes will help VARs and ISVs, while at the same time driving its Linux infrastructure business.

Focused around Novell’s SUSE Linux enterprise platform, the program will provide marketing and technical support that it says will help partners more easily create bundles with the platform. The program also will provide a set of technologies enabling ISVs to offer solutions to both physical and virtualized environments.
