Broadvox and NEC Unified Solutions Inc. have announced interoperability certification with NEC’s UNIVERGE SV8100 and UX5000 IP communications servers.
Broadvox GO! SIP Trunking launched with NEC’s UNIVERGE IP communication servers delivers truly affordable IP communications with support for digital, wired and wireless networks, the companies said. The features delivered via the SV8100 or UX500 can be shared between branch offices by linking multiple NEC communications servers together.
“We believe Broadvox has set the VoIP/SIP technology standard of excellence for years and we are pleased to have achieved certification with their SIP Trunking products,” stated Jay Krauser, general manager, core solutions and engineering, NEC. “Successful completion of testing that includes over 60 separate elements of call processing gives us the confidence to assure our customers that our UNIVERGE SV8100 and UX5000 communications servers and Broadvox SIP Trunking will enable ’real–world’ reliable communication with business VoIP.”
