AT&T Inc. has announced TeleNav Track LITE, a Web-based application that allows SMB business managers to identify workers’ current locations on a map, even when inside buildings.
TeleNav Track LITE is geared to help businesses improve their field service, delivery or sales operations through real-time visibility of employee locations, the company said. The tracking feature is always on and cannot be disabled on the device, providing companies with a constant view into the location of all mobile resources.
The new service, to be available at the end of July, is an expansion of TeleNav Track, a GPS-enabled mobile resource management service for mobile business customers. It does not require software or GPS on the mobile device.
