Google (GOOG) announced it is diving into the channel with a reseller program for its Google Apps Premier Edition. The office productivity SaaS suite is expected to compete with Microsoft’s growing portfolio of SaaS solutions. Google is offering VARs a 20 percent discount and enabling them to receive recurring revenue on the suite.
Google, which has had little experience in the channel, expects this program to rival other established SaaS opportunities in the channel.
