And here. We go. Again.
Wall Street’s week started on a high point on Monday as it closed 936 points higher than its opening numbers. Tuesday wasn’t so bad either but it all led up to today – the day the Dow industrials saw their second-worst point drop (733 points) in history, second only to the crash of 1987.
Other major indexes all fell more than 5 percent.
And in a total flip-flop of Monday’s good news, eight out of 10 telecom and cable stocks closed sharply lower on Wednesday.
