SimpleSignal (Booth 1630) unveiled the Connector for Salesforce, which fills the critical gap between Salesforce.com and advanced voice communication technology.

The Connector rests within the sidebar of a user’s Salesforce.com interface, adding efficiency and functionality to Salesforce.com. A user’s most frequently used call functions are accessed through the connector. Contacts also can be called by simply clicking on the phone number in Salesforce.

Incoming calls are announced on "screen pops” and, upon acceptance, the connector automatically displays the caller's contact information from the Salesforce database.

The connector also intuitively presents a “quick notes" area. When the call is completed, the user’s notes are automatically attached to the contact’s history, or can be easily attached to any “object” such as opportunity or account at the user’s discretion.
