It looks like Zultys has got its mojo back. The VoIP equipment provider, which emerged from bankruptcy under new ownership late last year, has redeemed itself with BandTel LLC, one of the key partners that had left its program.
VoIP termination provider BandTel last summer partnered with Zultys in a deal to allow Zultys channel partners to sell BandTel’s VoIP product, and in turn, make Zultys’ PBX systems available to BandTel’s enterprise and call center customers. But when BandTel executives got a call from their Zultys salesperson that the company was about to capsize, they dissolved connections. They immediately signed an agreement with Allworx to replace the deal with Zultys.
But on Monday, Zultys and BandTel announced they have renewed their partnership. Zultys’ channel partners will sell VoIP platforms to consumers while BandTel will be able to hawk Zultys’ IP PBX media exchange systems to enterprises and contact centers.
To promote the partnership, BandTel will give customers a month of free minutes if they purchase a Zultys MX system and sign a new customer agreement before June 30.
