Brightpoint Inc. said Monday its subsidiary Brightpoint North America L.P. has signed an agreement with High Tech Computer Corp. (HTC) to distribute HTC GSM devices in North America.
Brightpoint will be the authorized distributor for HTC's Microsoft Windows Mobile-based GSM devices and related accessories to regional carriers, MVNOs and their respective independent dealers, VARs and retailers in the United States and Canada.
The agreement is an extension of the relationship between the companies. Brightpoint has distributed HTC products in Europe for several years, said Mitch Black, senior vice president of sales and distribution for Brightpoint.
