New Global Telecom (NGT) announced at the Comptel PLUS Fall 2006 Conference & Expo a partnership with DecisionOne to offer nationwide field services for its 6DegreesIP customer community. 6DegreesIP is a branded suite of voice products available to service providers delivering retail solutions to business and residential customers.
With this agreement, DecisionOne will provide VoIP site assessments and network assessments, VoIP installation services and post-installation support services for NGT service provider partners.
“For VoIP services to reach the point of mass adoption, we need to further assist our service provider partners and standardize around business-class installations,” said John Guillaume, senior vice president of sales and marketing at NGT. “We plan to leverage our institutional know-how and combine it with DecisionOne’s nationwide footprint of service locations and support capabilities to deliver repeatable VoIP processes that customers can rely on.”
NGT’s field services support fully hosted VoIP solutions and business trunking services. NGT’s field services work in conjunction with NGT’s recently announced Network Performance Platform, which focuses on standardizing service deployment to ensure consistent, predictable delivery of business-class voice services.
