TalkSwitch Inc. today announced full interoperability between its TalkSwitch 48-CVA telephone systems and Cbeyond Communication’s BeyondVoice managed service package with SIPconnect service, so small businesses can put in a turnkey package of managed IP communications, including VoIP.
TalkSwitch will provide the intelligent call control at the customer premise with its hybrid IP PBX, while Cbeyond provides the managed applications, including VoIP, security, messaging, collaboration and storage. The solutions are available through the companies’ channel partners.

Cbeyond and TalkSwitch are both founding members of the SIPconnect Interface Specification group, a body formed to define a technical specification for direct IP peering between SIP-based service provider networks and IP PBX equipment.
Both TalkSwitch (Booth #205) and Cbeyond (Booth #708) will be exhibiting at the upcoming Channel Partners Conference & Expo in Las Vegas, March 1-3. The companies will be taking part in a presentation entitled “IP Peering for IP PBXs,” where they will discuss the value of direct IP peering. That session will take place tomorrow at 4:30 p.m.
