Wholesale IP network operator CommPartners is expanding its services to carriers with the acquisition of New Jersey-based TPC Networks.
CommPartners said today it has bought TPC for its expertise as a buyer and seller of carrier transport minutes. TPC will become part of CommPartners’ new Carrier Services Division.
The privately held companies did not disclose the deal’s terms.
Las Vegas-based CommPartners is using the acquisition to become a bigger player in the markets for local termination and origination services for TDM and IP traffic.
