Ethernet provider Cogent Communications Group Inc. said today it is giving cablecos the chance to test its Internet service without the requirement of a long-term commitment.
Termed “Zero Commit,” the deal lets cable operators cancel service within 30 days of signing on; they will pay the full first month of service charges, but be credited for any installation fees already paid.
“We want to make it as easy as we possibly can for new customers to have the opportunity to ‘test drive’ Cogent’s price/performance,” said Reed Harrison, president and COO, in a news release.
