The team at mobile-analytics firm RootMetrics recently released updated metrics for overall wireless performance – combining voice quality, data speeds, texting and more – for cities large and small throughout the United States. We've updated numbers for 50 of the largest markets in this one-stop slide show.
After AT&T ruled the roost in the second half of 2013, Verizon took over the reins as top dog in the majority of the cities. But watch out — T-Mobile is right on its bigger rivals' heels. Sprint, while beginning to catch up with the expansion of its LTE network, still has work to do.
