Slide Show: Play-by-Play From MicroCorp One-on-One 2012
More than 160 sales organizations and 27 suppliers attended One-on-One 2012, the largest partner summit for master agency MicroCorp to date.
The two-day event was held Nov. 4-5, in Atlanta, at the Omni Hotel at CNN Center – just a short walk from the Georgia Dome where the event was kicked off with premium seats for the NFL matchup between the Atlanta Falcons and the Dallas Cowboys.
The home team won, setting the tone for the two-day meeting in which MicroCorp laid out a game plan for 2013 that includes a groundbreaking deal with Tech Data's TDMobility business unit and the launch of TotalCare365, a managed services platform agents can use to monitor customer network environments.
MicroCorp hosted fours hours of training from the Cloud Training Institute designed to get agents rethinking their ideas about cloud and giving them tools to talk to customers.
The master agency also added to its cloud portfolio with a new agreement with NeoNova Network Services, which offers MicroCorp agents the chance to sell Google Apps as well as other cloud services.
Instead of the typical elevator pitch, MicroCorp's key suppliers – Comcast, EarthLink Business, ACC Business, inContact, Windstream and Level 3 – brought agents with them to share case studies about successful implementations.
Twenty-five of MicroCorp's suppliers were on hand at the supplier fair Monday night, and, in keeping with the One-on-One theme, they had individual meetings with partners earlier in the afternoon.
The event was capped by an awards ceremony in which MicroCorp honored its top partners and suppliers. It also acknowledged its employees for years of service and outstanding performance.
