Ingram Micro held its latest Cloud Summit this week in Scottsdale, Ariz. Partners from all over North America braved the unfamiliar (to them) 100-degree heat to come learn about new services and capabilities offered by Ingram Micro, and listen to expert keynote speakers. On June 5, Vivek Kundra, the nation's first-ever CIO, headlined Ingram Micro's general session. On June 6, the highlighted speaker was Gartner's Tiffani Bova, who also has given Channel Partners attendees and readers many a primer on the cloud. Amid the education, Ingram Micro demoed its new interface for partners, held a number of vendor presentations and, finally, hosted a multivendor technology fair.
