|Khali Henderson Blog|
Khali Henderson, editor in chief of Channel Partners, draws on more than two decades of experience covering telecom and IT for her observations about the technology and business trends impacting the channel.
Focusing on the Future
The convergence of telecom and information technologies. The disruption in technology consumption and delivery. Social networking, cloud computing and big data. These are just a few of the trends transforming the information and communications technology (ICT) channel.
But how and how much? These are some of the questions Channel Partners will answer in a new research initiative, “Partnering 2020: Putting the Future of the Channel In Focus."
Our editorial team has partnered with CompTIA, the leading IT association, to take a look at the forces changing the technology channel and how channel leaders and channel partners can survive and thrive in the new landscape. Together, Channel Partners and CompTIA will tap the significant brain trust in channel leaders, partners and pundits through quantitative surveys, qualitative interviews and an exclusive executive roundtable event Aug. 5 at CompTIA ChannelCon 2014 in Phoenix.
The goal of this ongoing initiative is to provide actionable insight — not only for next year but for the next decade. After all, knowing your destination can help you prepare for the journey. We hope you will join us.
