Ready to Vote for 2013's Channel Executive of the Year?
We've received dozens of nominations for the annual Channel Partners Channel Executive of the Year award, and, if you are an agent or VAR, it's now time to vote.
Remember, you may vote for up to five nominees who work at a supplier or carrier (not at a master agency), and we have included a write-in section in case your chosen pick does not appear on the list.
We run this program each year so you may honor the executives who help you succeed. After all, cloud computing, mobility, professional services and more are reshaping the industry, and SMBs are looking to partners to solve their communications problems. Go-to channel executives are instrumental in creating the programs that help agents and VARs evolve to meet their clients' changing needs. With that in mind, please consider the following criteria when voting:
- Leadership – To what extent do your nominees show leadership within the companies where he/she has worked, and within the business community at large, the communications industry and the channel?
- Longevity – How long have these people been involved in developing the channel?
- Innovation – To what extent does they bring new ideas to the channel?
- Contribution – To what extent do these folks engage in activities to promote or advance the channel?
Voting will close on Tuesday, Jan. 22, at 9 a.m. Mountain/11 a.m. Eastern. The deadline will not be extended, so get your votes in now. Remember, only agent, VAR, consultant and other partner votes will be counted. All vendor and end-user votes will be disqualified.
The finalists and winner will be announced and honored on Feb. 27 at the Spring 2013 Channel Partners Conference & Expo in Las Vegas. We'll also run subsequent profiles online and in print.
