TBI has launched a new philanthropy program called TBI Cares.
The Chicago-based master agency said it wants to improve the communities in which it does business, through financial support, and by participating in charity events and encouraging staff volunteerism. TBI's agents and VARs can participate in TBI Cares, too.
For 2013, TBI employees voted the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago as their Charity of the Year along with Catch-a-Dream Foundation and Habitat for Humanity. Two ambassadors were chosen for each charity and will serve as the main contacts between TBI and the respective organizations.
The agency also held a food drive at its corporate office during the holidays. The goal was to collect 500 items in two weeks. But TBI staff donated more than 1,000 items for the Oak Park River Forest Food Pantry.
“I am proud of the TBI staff for not only supporting this charitable program, but for taking the initiative to spearhead events and get the whole company involved," said Geoff Shepstone, president of TBI.
