PlanetOne Kicks Off 2010 All-Star Event Series

PlanetOne Communications Inc. kicked of its 2010 All-Star Tour on Jan. 12, in Denver, at the Hyatt Regency. The master agency touts this gathering as the longest-standing channel networking and educational event in the telecom industry and says it continues to attract top agents all over the country.

PlanetOne tours the country with its Preferred Vendors throughout the year, bringing this fast-paced event to the agents’ front door. In 2010, PlanetOne will host events in Denver; Atlanta; Washington, D.C.; Chicago; New York City; Boston; and Phoenix.

“We understand that there are several agents around the country that simply can’t afford the time away from the office to go to the major telecom trade shows so we bring the vendors to their front door,” said Ted Schuman, CEO PlanetOne. “This gives agents a tremendous opportunity to meet the sales teams that support PlanetOne and to develop a relationship direct with the carrier. It’s a fabulous opportunity for agents in attendance to hear from their peers about the successes and challenges we all face in the field.”

At the Denver event, agents got to hear from seven vendors (ACC Business, TNCI, Level 3 Communications, Global Crossing, XO Communications, PGi, PAETEC) about the direction of their programs, promotions and new products. Attendees also have several chances to win cash and prizes throughout the day during the networking breaks at each event.

“It was apparent by the showing of attendees that PlanetOne has a strong presence in Denver, which positions PAETEC’s channel extremely well. We are very excited to be a Preferred Vendor the second year in a row with PlanetOne and participating in the other All-Star Events around the country in 2010,” said Jerry Tedino, vice president of channel sales at PAETEC. “Our growth with PlanetOne in 2010 will be bolstered by our national footprint, complete product portfolio, financial position, local management team for PlanetOne Agents and commitment to service delivery,” said Tedino.

PlanetOne’s next All-Star Event is March 23, in Atlanta.
