Who Are You, PHONE+ Reader?

Since the December print issue of PHONE+ magazine is all about YOU, we wanted to find out who YOU are. So, we asked you a few questions through an online survey between Sept. 15 and Oct. 31. Here’s what you told us about your businesses and the channel.

Your Companies

You are small businesses for the most part. Three-fourths of you have annual revenue less than $10 million (see chart, Annual Revenue). Another one in five had revenue of less than $1 million.

But that doesn’t mean you are necessarily young businesses. More than half (59 percent) of you have been in business for more than 10 years, and a third (33 percent) have been in business six to 10 years (see chart, Years in Business).

More than half of you sell products and services nationally (see chart, Geographic Coverage). Interestingly, one third (33 percent) operate multinationally — that’s up from 10 percent in our 2008 survey.
