Two corporate sponsors for August’s Beijing Olympics used [Send Word Now's Alert Service to communicate with employees abroad during the sporting event. Send Word Now's international two-way SMS application enabled them to communicate with overseas employees during daily operational tasks and, in the event of an emergency, to quickly coordinate and evacuate their employees. Using Send Word Now's Alert Service, these organizations were able to notify thousands of people in minutes as well as “track” and “field” responses from message recipients in real time for virtual head counts.
