L.A.-based U.S. TelePacific Communications (Booth 205) said it soon expects to surpass the 1 million mark in access line equivalents.

“TelePacific has been able to achieve this landmark with the help of its agent channel,” said Justin Chris-Tensen, vice president of the agent channel. “The Telepartners contribute more than 40 percent to the company’s growth. We are extremely committed to the channel and are humbled by the agents continuing support.”

Much of the company’s recent growth has been fueled by adoption of data services, such as Net MPLS, a service delivered over TelePacific’s private IP network and bundled with

QoS. TelePacific said data and integrated service products will continue to drive access line growth in 2007 and into 2008. Those services include the SmartVoice VoIP suite.

TelePacific is California and Nevada’s largest CLEC; it claims more than 47 percent of the CLEC market share in those two states.
