California-based CLEC TelePacific Communications recently hosted its annual President’s Club Dinner to honor its top master agents.

It was the first such event the company held as the “new” TelePacific following its acquisitions of Mpower Communications and Arrival Communications. Those buys give TelePacific even more revenue, agents and regional coverage.

About 30 people gathered on April 21 on the terrace of The Boulders’ clubhouse in Carefree, Ariz. The group was comprised of agents and their significant others, and of course, key TelePacific crew. Intelisys Corp., DataTel Solutions, PSI Network Inc.,

Bridgepointe Technologies, Sandler Partners and World Telecom Group (WTG) received top honors. Notably Bridgepointe Technologies and Sandler Partners were new to TelePacific’s top performers list.

Dick Jalkut, TelePacific’s president and CEO, said 40 percent to 45 percent of the CLEC’s revenue comes from these six agencies alone. They brought in $300,000 for TelePacific just in March and Jalkut expected them to send another $260,000 TelePacific’s way in April after the President’s Club Dinner.

Next year’s celebration will take place in Santa Barbara, Calif.
