McLeodUSA Inc. has introduced a platform for business customers that provides voice and data services including direct VoIP peering between a customer’s IP PBX and the McLeodUSA network. McLeodUSA IP PBX trunking delivers integrated voice and data services to IP PBX systems over a high-speed connection with bandwidth capabilities ranging from 1.5mbps to 45mbps. Linksys, Sotto Wireless Provide Bundle for VARs
Linksys and Sotto Wireless have rolled out a new service that bundles Linksys wired and wireless networking hardware and desktop IP phones with Sotto’s hosted communication service. The bundle targets VARs selling to small businesses. Sotto’s service gives each employee one number and voice mail for office and mobile calling, and wireless e-mail and messaging. Linksys’ networking and VoIP hardware – including a router, wireless access point and desktop IP phone – supports the service.

The software stores all messages – voice, fax and e-mail – on the e-mail server; it lets users access voice and fax messages from the desktop e-mail client, and voice, fax and e-mail messages from the telephone; and it sends an e-mail alerting users to messages.
