Wholesale VoIP carrier Broadvox recently launched Broadvox-Powered resale and private-label VoIP programs for CLECs, ISPs, cablecos and UNE-P resellers. Both programs are available in about 3,000 rate centers in the United States and Canada, and are supported by Broadvox's softswitch network. The Broadvox Private-Label Program is a turnkey platform that allows consumer- and SOHO-focused providers entry into VoIP services. Broadvox provides the service and bills the end user under the reseller's brand. For resellers wanting to use their own broadband or pair the VoIP service with TDM-based offers, Broadvox offers a more traditional resale program wherein the reseller provides the back-office functions. The Broadvox Reseller Program supports both consumer and enterprise VoIP services.
VoIP wholesaler CommPartners is incorporating E911 service from TeleCommunication Systems Inc. into its VoIP offerings. To combat that problem, TCS says it has created a mechanism that allows its customers to update wireline databases in less time than many other E911 systems.
