Voxbone's inbound-only DID SIP trunking service is qualified for Microsoft Lync 2013.
Enterprises and hosted service providers can now leverage Voxbone’s DIDs and toll-free services, called VoxDID and Vox800, respectively, when they use Lync 2013, improving their bottom line by enabling them to acquire telephone numbers at wholesale prices and enhancing the international communications reachability for their employees and customers, the company said.
“The newly qualified capabilities allow customers to confidently deploy global numbering and SIP trunking solutions from Voxbone that will enhance their Lync experience and business utility," Voxbone CEO Itay Rosenfeld said. “Voxbone’s integration with Lync allows businesses to maintain a global presence with ease, while also receiving a high quality of service."
The combined service will allow Lync 2013 users to receive calls from public switched telephone network (PSTN) and mobile numbers wherever they have network connectivity. Voxbone automatically adapts to network conditions for improved availability.
Voxbone's partner program already includes companies like AudioCodes and Patton Electronics who provide Microsoft Lync-qualified voice infrastructure such as IP PBX, gateways and SBCs. Voxbone partners and agents will be able to address new international telephony-deployment opportunities around Microsoft Lync 2013 with this new qualification.
Voxbone inbound SIP trunking for Lync provides flat-rate unlimited inbound calling on geographic, national and mobile DIDs, with shared channels across subscribers, countries and regions. Now, enterprise IT and telecommunications managers can deploy global numbers for Lync from six continents using a single Web interface and API from Voxbone, with unified customer support, billing and immediate service provisioning.
