TPx Taps DSCI Alum as Channel Sales Director

Managed services carrier TPx has promoted John Lepore to director of channel sales for the New York Tri-State area.

Lepore was channel manager at DSCI when TPx acquired the company in 2016. He has 20 years of experience helping companies bring new technologies to market and building channel sales programs. Prior to working for TPx, he held channel management positions at WinStar, Fusion Connect, Yipes Enterprise Services and eZuce.

In his new role, Lepore will lead a team of six channel managers in the Tri-State area as well as Pennsylvania, filling the role of Carl Moore, who recently was promoted to director of national channel development.

“I’m honored to have been given this responsibility and I can’t wait to get started,” he said. “I’ve been working in this space for a long time, and I can sincerely say that TPx, as the industry’s premier managed services carrier, is uniquely capable and well positioned to help partners open up new revenue opportunities and win more business. That’s going to translate into explosive growth for our partners in the Tri-State area.”

TPx is in the process of building a national channel sales organization, hiring numerous channel managers and other personnel to support the channel in the field and to assist agents with selling unified communications, managed services and managed security services. The company realigned its service provisioning organization to create a team dedicated to processing service orders, installations and escalations for its agent partners and their clients nationwide.

“John brings a wealth of knowledge about the Tri-State area marketplace and a proven track record of supporting and empowering channel partners so they can bring customers the solutions they need and grow their own businesses,” said James Maloney, TPx’s senior vice president of sales. “He is a strong team builder and a terrific advocate for partners.
