Line Systems VP Takes on Bigger Channel Role With Telesystem

Telecommunications company Telesystem has selected channel sales veteran Bruce Wirt to lead its channel program at the executive level.

Telesystem's Bruce WirtAs vice president of channel sales, Wirt will lead the initiative for the organization as a whole, including both the Toledo and West Chester teams. This alignment coincides with the brand unification of Line Systems’ West Chester office with Telesystem’s Toledo, Ohio, operations.

The resulting integration of product portfolios will provide an expanded offering and expand partners’ reach.

Wirt previously was vice president of sales and marketing for the Line Systems business unit. Line Systems and Telesystem are commercial telecom business units of Block Communications.

Line Systems primarily does business on the East Coast, and Telesystem primarily sells in the Midwest. The VP of channel sales title encompasses the agent channel across the entire organization for commercial telecom.{ad}

“This is an exciting opportunity for me,” Wirt said. “We get to take the foundation of the agent channel constructed in West Chester and transform it on a national level.
