FinancialForce, Nexsan, Stratoscale Appoint New Sales Execs

Three companies that do business in the channel have new sales executives.

Financial Force's Chris LeeA cloud ERP provider on the Salesforce platform, FinancialForce has appointed Chris Lee to vice president of strategic sales. In his new role, he is responsible for heading up the company’s enterprise and general business sales groups, and for maintaining successful customer relationships.

Lee brings more than 20 years of enterprise SaaS experience to FinancialForce, including customer and partner relationships. In his previous roles at DocuSign, Salesforce and Siebel Systems, he was responsible for building enterprise sales teams. He created and grew DocuSign’s global financial services vertical.

Nexsan's Tony CraythorneAlso in the channel, unified storage provider Nexsan has appointed Tony Craythorne to senior vice president of worldwide sales. Reporting directly to CEO Robert Fernander, Craythorne will be responsible for driving sales growth, market expansion and global channel partnerships.

Craythorne brings more than 25 years of sales experience, leading sales teams in the United States, Europe and Asia. Most recently, he was senior vice president of worldwide sales at NexGen Storage, and led the company through a spinout from SanDisk through to its recent acquisition by Pivot3. Prior to NexGen, he held senior management positions at a number of storage companies including Brocade, Hitachi Data Systems, Bell Micro and Connected Data.

Stratoscale's Jay PhillipsAnd Stratoscale, a cloud infrastructure company, has appointed Jay Phillips to vice president of global sales. He is a software industry veteran with more than 25 years of sales management experience, fueling startup growth and strategically bringing cloud offerings to market.

He will be responsible for further developing the company’s channel partner program and driving global customer acquisition.

Most recently, Phillips served as vice president of worldwide sales at AccelOps, where he worked closely with the acquisition and integration of AccelOps into Fortinet. Prior to joining AccelOps, Phillips managed and built the software portfolio team at Fusion-io until its acquisition by SanDisk. He also held sales leadership roles at NetApp, IO Turbine, Dell and PepsiCo.{ad}
