BitTitan, Dropbox Go Global With Alliance

BitTitan’s go-to-market alliance with Dropbox is now globally available to IT and managed service providers.

In turn, Dropbox resellers have free access to all tools and resources in BitTitan MSPComplete, a cloud services enablement platform, including its sales-automation capabilities.

Rocco Seyboth, BitTitan’s vice president of product and marketing, tells Channel Partners that by collaborating with Dropbox, “we enable IT service providers to rapidly migrate files, folder hierarchies, permissions and metadata from legacy file collaboration platforms into Dropbox Business.”

“We expanded our migration sources beyond Box to include Google Drive, Google Sites, Microsoft OneDrive and SharePoint Online, as well as thousands of on-premise[s] file servers,” he said. “We’re also providing IT service providers and MSPs the opportunity to create more services revenue by easily bundling together best-of-breed, complementary products and services.”{ad}

The integration is available globally at bittitan.com. For U.S. and Canadian MSPs, it’s also available from Ingram Micro and Synnex, while MSPs in Australia and New Zealand also can find it from Ingram Micro.

“BitTitan and Dropbox partners will be able to offer even more differentiated cloud services and offerings to customers due to the multitude of bundling opportunities,” Seyboth said. “One-time project services like document migration can be bundled with ongoing managed services to create a better experience for the end-user. Additionally, partners can bundle together best-of-breed solutions like Microsoft Office 365, for example, with complementary products and services to create additional services revenue.”

For the first time, BitTitan partners will have the opportunity to customize and implement, beyond email, cloud projects and workloads according to customer demands, he said.

“BitTitan removes the challenges associated with selling, onboarding and servicing the Dropbox platform, so successfully reselling Dropbox will be far easier and more streamlined,” Seyboth said.

The expansion of service capabilities is essential for ISVs to remain competitive in the “saturated cloud marketplace,” he said.
