CHANNEL PARTNERS EVOLUTION — Avant (a Premier Sponsor) on Monday launched its new platform for sales enablement as a service (SEaaS), aimed at helping partners sell and close more cloud, colocation and connectivity opportunities.

Avant's Drew LydeckerAvant SEaaS uses the company’s channel-enablement methodology, channel sales tools, and a selection of channel-friendly cloud, colocation and connectivity services for business customers.

Drew Lydecker, Avant’s president and co-founder, tells Channel Partners the platform “knocks down” several barriers to channel sales. The platform was built by salespeople for salespeople, he said.

“It shortens the cycle from customer engagement to qualification, to proposal and helps sellers win business,” he said. “Every component of the platform contributes to knocking down sales barriers, from the learning modules, to the dynamic intelligent qualification forms used during conversations, to assisted sales from our solution architects actively support(ing) sales activity, to our annual battle planning sessions that help partners understand their barriers to success and how they can overcome them. The platform for SEaaS combines the people, processes and tools to help each individual seller get what they individually need to sell advanced IT solutions.”{ad}

The platform introduces “industry-first” elements such as the BattleApp, built on Salesforce Communities, and the launch of BattleLab, a new channel enablement and immersion center at Avant’s new global headquarters in Chicago.

“The platform … opens up a world of opportunities to sell new products someone may have never sold before by giving them the confidence that the Avant platform for sales enablement is there to help them at every step: from learning, researching, proposing to closing,” Lydecker said. “The platform instills seller confidence in selling the unknown, and once you have done that, the selling possibilities are endless.”

Avant’s BattleApp is operating system agnostic and available on Android, iOS and Windows.

“Avant’s platform for sales enablement helps us stay ahead of the curve in enabling our team with the latest IT solutions in today’s evolving market and helps give us a competitive edge,” said Courtney Humphrey, Opex Technologies’ CEO.
