Tech Data Names Former Microsoft, Citrix Exec to Lead StreamOne Store

Tech Data has appointed Bob Kruger to lead the scope, platform development and support functions for its StreamOne suite of cloud marketplace and integration technologies.

Kruger has nearly 40 years of experience in the computing industry, covering a range of technologies including distributed computing, systems management, data management, archiving and data protection, networking, security, virtualization and web content management. Most recently, he served as CEO of Apakau, an early-stage Silicon Valley startup whose services prevent distributed denial of service attacks that impact dynamic data from mobile apps and IoT devices.

Kruger’s career also includes senior executive roles at NDCHealth, Citrix Systems, and BMC Software following more than 10 years at Microsoft, where he last oversaw systems management products, including the creation of the Web-Based Enterprise Management (WBEM) and Common Information Model (CIM) industry standards.
