AT&T Partner Exchange Taps Samsung for ‘Success With Mobility’

AT&T Partner Exchange has added a Samsung-specific segment to its Mobility Certification Achievement Program (CAP), in addition to the ability to resell three Samsung devices.

AT&T's Sue GalvanekThe carrier is bringing Samsung in to work directly with partners. The program’s goal is to “make it as easy and seamless as possible for solution providers to find success with mobility.”

Sue Galvanek, AT&T Partner Exchange’s vice president, tells Channel Partners that CAP is designed to advance partners’ sales proficiency and knowledge of AT&T’s products and services “so they can have more effective conversations with their business customers.”

“It offers a range of online, foundational courses to an in-depth, multi-day experience called CAPstone, which incorporates case studies and role-rehearsal scenarios,” she said. “We’ve added Samsung to our CAPstone lineup to help our solution providers better understand a device’s capabilities and differences. This will help them make the best device recommendations to their customers, which will help increase the value they can deliver.”

“We’ve worked with Samsung to design our most stylish active smartphone of the past four years, and it can still handle your daily grind whether you’re a multi-tasking mom, an outdoorsman at the lake or a contractor on a jobsite,” said Jeff Bradley, AT&T’s senior vice president of device marketing and network services.

The Samsung Galaxy J3 and the Galaxy Tab E made their debuts earlier this month.

“The latest Samsung device additions bring even more choice to the channel,” Galvanek said. “The Samsung Galaxy J3 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab E reduce the cost barrier for solution providers who want to ramp up their mobility practices. These devices will help solution providers deliver a top-notch device experience with a price point that supports large multi-line deals for business customers, regardless of their preference for a subsidized or unsubsidized model.”

Service providers work with a variety of business customers, and for many, durability and functionality are key, AT&T said. Providers interested in any of the three devices can receive limited-time offers from AT&T Partner Exchange when buying 25 or more units in a single order.
