Netformx Taps EMC Vet to Lead Alliance Program

Netformx, which provides sales-enablement platforms for solution providers, looked to storage giant EMC for its new vice president of Business Development and Alliances.

Netformx's Pete EggimannPete Eggimann, who has been on the job at Netformx since February, is charged with managing and growing the Netformx Alliance Program. The company just announced his hiring this week.

Eggimann’s IT experience includes providing “technical leadership and evangelism” for content vendors, channel partners and end-user customers implementing high-end computing services in complex data-center environments. His most recent job was director of EMC’s VSPEX Ecosystem Program, where he was responsible for helping partners create high-margin solutions for converged and hyperconverged infrastructures.

“Having worked with Pete for years as a Netformx Alliance partner at EMC, we know that he understands the business and technical drivers of the industry and that he has a very strong customer focus,” said Ittai Bareket, CEO at Netformx. “Pete will play a central role as Netformx expands its ecosystem to bring continuing value to our customers and Alliance partners.”{ad}

Eggimann is tasked with promoting a variety of Netformx services to solution providers, including the company’s ChannelXpert, SalesXpert, DesignXpert and KnowledgeExpert.

“Alliance partners are key to Netformx’ success, as they provide the vital content needed to efficiently create multivendor proposals and increase profitability,” said Eggimann. “And Netformx aids its partners by expanding the market for their products and services. I’m delighted to join Netformx at this exciting time and to be able to work hand-in-hand with the industry to increase profitability for both our solution provider clients and Alliance partners.”

Netformx sports more than 2,000 service-provider, systems-integrator, and technology-vendor customers in more than 120 countries. They include big names such as AT&T, CDW, Bell Canada, Juniper Networks and Telstra.
