Security provider iSheriff says its new global channel leader will help partners sell more.

iSheriff's Carrie RobertsThe company announced Thursday that it has named Carrie Roberts as vice president of global sales. She has been working at iSheriff since February.

Roberts says she will work to increase the company’s customer base and help partners make more money. iSheriff’s strategy to bring about those changes includes lead-generation programs, and sales and technical training.

“At iSheriff, we are committed to cultivating and supporting strong relationships with each of our global partners and are building a channel that we can collaborate with on a regional basis to understand and address the needs of both the channel, and our customers, locally,” Roberts said. “Our goal is to provide partners with the tools they need, and deliver a unique competitive edge, in addressing their markets.”

iSheriff credits Roberts for her experience in building partner “ecosystems” and go-to-market efforts.{ad}

 “We are very excited about Carrie’s plans for our global channel sales efforts moving forward,” CEO John Mutch said. “She has a proven history building sales organizations and delivering solid results and will be instrumental in ramping up iSheriff’s global channel presence.”

Roberts is by all reports an industry veteran. She previously served as director of global channels and alliances at Security Mentor. She spoke to Channel partners last year when Security Mentor announced its global channel program. She also has led global channel sales for MailFrontier, BorderWare Technologies, BeyondTrust and Eccentex.

iSheriff offers a cloud-based, multi-tenant managed security platform.

“Our simple to use, scalable, single pane of glass platform makes deploying, configuring and running multiple security services an easy business for partners to manage and grow,” Mutch said.
