Microsoft Alums Join SkyKick in Global Push

SkyKick's Kathryn SaducasSkyKick, the cloud-management software provider, touted its “global expansion” Monday as it announced three new members of its executive team.

Two of the new hires will manage business on foreign continents.

The company has chosen Kathryn Saducas as general manager of Western Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Anthony Philips will work as general manager of business development for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

SkyKick’s co-CEO, Evan Richman, said the hires will have the effect of “expanding our global footprint.”

“SkyKick’s mission is to help partners succeed in the cloud,” he said. “Today more than 5,000 IT solution providers in 125 countries rely on SkyKick to deliver cloud migration, backup and management services for their customers, which also provides new cloud revenue streams for those partners.”{ad}

SkyKick's Anthony PhillipsThe company also announced Chike Farrell, the new vice president of marketing. He has been working with the company since December. Both he and Saducas have a history with Microsoft. Farrell worked with Microsoft from 2004 to 2010, focusing mainly on marketing, while Saducas had been working with Microsoft since 2002. She most recently managed commercial channel development in Asia and the Pacific for Microsoft Surface.

SkyKick’s other co-CEO, Todd Schwartz, said IT partners need to have the best platform available to help their customers in the cloud.

“We’re in the early stages of the next seismic shift of IT. With IDC forecasting that worldwide public IT cloud services revenue will reach $141.2 billion by 2019, the cloud will continue to be a driving force in how people work,” he said.
