NTT’s U.S. Agents Get Enhanced Enterprise Cloud

PRESS RELEASE — CHANNEL PARTNERS — NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com), (Booth 803), the information and communications technology (ICT) solutions business within the NTT Group (NYSE: NTT), today announced its Global Solutions Channel Partner Program, an indirect sales program tailored to the U.S. market, has exceeded its goals for master agents, is shifting its focus to sub-agents and will make available for resell an enhanced Enterprise Cloud in 2016. Company representatives are available to share the Channel Partner Program’s “One Global Partner – Many Benefits” vision and discuss new offerings and opportunities for partner sub-agents at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo booth number 803, from March 16-18, at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas.

Master Agent Goal Surpassed

Backed by distinct global capabilities and a robust portfolio of services, the Channel Partner Program has met and exceeded its goal of on-boarding 15 of the largest, most credible and supportive master agents to its roster. The Channel Partner Program, which launched in September 2014 at Cloud Partners, offers uniquely attractive terms, significant prospects for international expansion, and the opportunity to leverage the assets of NTT Com, regularly named as one the world’s largest and most innovative ICT providers. Those robust global assets include 140 secure and interconnected data centers, a private network in 196 countries and 14 data centers that double as cloud computing delivery centers.{ad}

Results to date of collaborative efforts between NTT Com and its channel partners in the US include contracts with large, global enterprise clients seeking innovative and cost-effective ICT solutions. In addition, the Channel Partner Program has demonstrated its ability to generate revenue for master agents across multiple verticals, including utilities, government, electronics, manufacturing, technology and healthcare, among others.

Sub-agent Network Activated

For the remainder of 2016, the Channel Partner Program will focus on empowering the greater sub-agent network to create new business opportunities through the resale of NTT Com’s entire suite of domestic and international ICT services. NTT Com is accelerating investments in the development, training and education of its channel partners to ensure sub-agents are equipped with the knowledge and expertise necessary to secure these opportunities, especially for international growth. Enhanced Enterprise Cloud Launched

NTT Com has unveiled dramatic enhancements to its innovative cloud solution, Enterprise Cloud, and channel partners and their sub-agents can look forward to adding this enhanced solution to their rich portfolio of NTT Com-based services later this year. Leveraging NTT Com’s growing cloud data-center footprint and designed to help enterprises meet the complex requirements of digital transformation, the enhanced Enterprise Cloud extends private-cloud capabilities for traditional ICT; expands the open-source architecture (via OpenStack and Cloud Foundry) of its public cloud for cloud-native ICT; and enables flexible SDN-based configuration of both. It also includes free and low-cost global cloud data-center connectivity and a new unified cloud management platform.
