Wolfe Adds Miami PoP for High-Speed Ethernet Services

CHANNEL PARTNERS — Wolfe (Booth 352) now can provide services at speeds up to 100 Gbps for customers in the Miami area.

The company has established its latest point-of-presence (PoP) at Zayo’s downtown Miami colocation facility. That means area customers get access to Wolfe’s customized IP and Ethernet solutions, and can “peer” with Wolfe’s national network.

Wolfe’s first location in Florida links to further expansions in California, Georgia, New Jersey, New York, Texas and Washington state.

“Wolfe is excited to announce our entry in the Miami area as part of our expanded nationwide coverage,” said Mike Scott, general manager of Wolfe. “Today’s businesses and consumers are increasingly looking for ultra-high speed Internet and Ethernet solutions that truly support their connected lifestyles and meet business-critical requirements and applications. Streaming high-definition video on their smartphones and tablets, video conferencing on their laptops, online gaming and transferring large files all require more bandwidth. Wolfe’s customized approach will give customers in Miami an affordable choice of gigabit speeds.”

“By offering Ethernet solutions tailored to the thriving hospitality industry in Miami, South Florida’s many exciting hotels, restaurants and entertainment venues will now be able to offer their guests the bandwidth they need,” said Deon Hines, Wolfe’s director of sales. “Additionally, faster and more reliable Internet is a very desirable amenity that today’s residents are expecting their condominiums and apartment buildings to provide. We look forward to working with property managers and developers to tailor high performance connectivity solutions to their buildings.”

Wolfe’s scalable, customized solutions include point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, MPLS and IP services with bandwidth speeds from 10 Mbps to the recently launched 100 Gbps.
