Cisco on Tuesday announced the Business Edition 6000S (BE6000S) all-in-one collaboration platform for organizations with as few as 25 users.

The company is putting midsize customers in its sights as that sector leads economic growth, according to a variety of analysts. To that end, Cisco has created a portfolio that includes infrastructure and endpoints priced for companies with 25-150 users. Communications capabilities include voice, video, instant messaging, presence and paging, all built into a Cisco 2921 Integrated Services Router. That allows for the delivery of routing, security, wireless and collaboration services in one box.

Cisco says the BE6000S is easy to install and support, and comes with tools such as management wizards. There’s also an option to buy the platform with pre-configured settings.

The BE6000S should be available around the world in early 2015. Cisco says the platform offers channel partners a big opportunity to increase adoption among midmarket users.
