ViaWest Doubling Data Center Capacity in Las Vegas via Acquisition

ViaWest, a privately-held data center, cloud computing and managed service provider, on Monday announced acquiring a Las Vegas data center from CoreLink Data Centers LLC.

Greenwood Village, Colo.-based ViaWest revealed the acquisition would double its capacity in downtown Las Vegas. An outside spokesperson for ViaWest confirmed the agreement has closed.

The deal is ViaWest’ latest effort to invest in the Las Vegas market, following its plans to develop a 110,000-square-foot facility in North Las Vegas.
