BT Introduces Onevoice with Microsoft Lync Support

BT on Tuesday announced the availability of its converged communications platform, BT Onevoice, in the U.S., with support for Microsoft Lync 2010.

BT said customers will gain access to Microsofts telephony, instant messaging, conferencing and presence software in a secure environment and on a fully-managed basis while receiving BTs business-grade voice, video and unified communications, network performance management and continuous maintenance.

Last year, BT launched Microsoft Lync-based managed services in the United Kingdom.

Recently, the telecommunications giant introduced the services in Asia Pacific, and other regions across Europe are set to receive the offerings throughout the year.
