Birch: New Sales Software Good for Agents

Atlanta-based CLEC Birch Communications on Monday launched a new automated sales system; agents will sign up for training starting this week.

Birch, which specializes in IP telecommunications and managed services for SMBs, wanted customers to be able to receive contracts digitally and sign them electronically. The company opted for software that includes DocuSign security.

The new technology allows our sales team to get contracts to customers quickly, and with the auto-populate option in document fields, human error is less likely,” said Brad Smith, Birchs vice president of sales.

Birch said it will now be able to process orders in half the usual time.
