Kaseya Eases MSP-ISV Collaboration

Kaseya has developed an IT automation framework to enable independent software vendors and managed services providers to seamlessly integrate their respective solutions.

The Kaseya Third Party Integration Program lets ISVs integrate their applications and solutions, providing Kaseya customers and their MSPs expanded functionality and overall improvement of IT service delivery all under one integrated framework.

Companies currently participating in the program include: Autotask, Catbird, ConnectWise, Highly Reliable Systems, Tigerpaw and Untangle.

All of these have individual interfaces, but with this program, customers now have that in one single pane of glass,” said Jim Alves, executive vice president of strategy and product marketing at Kaseya. What we are now providing is the framework for ISVs (and MSPs) to plug into that framework, bringing centralized management into their solutions.”

The program is free-of-charge for participants. The developer’s solution is integrated with the Kaseya Virtual System Administrator (VSA) as an add-on element using the Kaseya APIs. Participants will receive access to the companys online training curriculum and online support.

For ISVs that are servicing MSPs utilizing Kaseya, this platform is a logical choice,” said Dana Epp, CEO of Scorpion Software.  From what I know, we coach hundreds of MSPs, and they dont have time to use several different tools. They want one tool that will automate their workflow, and this platform has the integration built right in. It is the automation that is the key focus.”

We share many customers with Kaseya, and this new integration program  in concert with the open Autotask API  will insure that both companies will be able to continue to provide solutions that benefit our mutual customers.”
