Agents Network at Vegas Peer-to-Peer Mixer

About 100 independent agents and subagents attended the Peer-to-Peer Networking Mixer Tuesday afternoon at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo in Las Vegas.

The event, sponsored by PHONE+ and master agency PlanetOne Communications, offered a forum for agents to network and discuss their common business issues.

With the reception atmosphere – cocktails and dinner were served – the room was quickly abuzz with chit-chat as agents got to know their peers during the speed networking session. These contacts formed the basis for later conversations at the topical roundtables on contracts, carriers/suppliers, social media marketing, transformation, cloud computing, sales and marketing, SIP trunking vs. hosted, back-office automation and more.

The event is created by agents for agents. PHONE+ teams with a committee of channel partners, including James Lockhart, president of president of Telecom Management Inc., Dan Vidal, managing director of Telecom Advisors; Bill Leutzinger, president of TelecomMedic; and Debbie Clavadetscher, owner of Spiritel Inc.

Expert moderators included: Heather Margolis, founder and president, Channel Maven Consulting; Jim Hamilton, senior director, Member Relations, MSP Partners (CompTIA); Peter Radizeski, president, RAD-INFO Inc.; Ralph Widmar, CEO, Network Intelligence; and Mark Del Bianco, attorney, Law Office of Mark C. Del Bianco.

Attendee Chris Henry of Nexus IS, a VAR based in Irvine, Calif., was the winner of PlanetOne’s raffle drawing for an iPad.
