New BlackBerry Storm 2 Gets So-So Reviews

The second generation of the BlackBerry Storm 2 is getting some early reviews.

And they’re not fabulous.

One reviewer says yes, the keyboard is better this time around, but stability is “dodgy,” camera performance is subpar and the SurePress touch technology is “gimmicky.”

phoneArena said, too, its handset locked up the shortcut keys. And what good is a shortcut you can’t use?

Surely Research in Motion will use this kind of feedback to fix the new BlackBerry’s software, though. The operating system is not set in stone yet, so there is room for improvement.
