Canada Welcomes Palm Pre

Canadians now have a chance to weigh in on the greatness or lack thereof – depending on which side of the fence you stand – of the Palm Pre. Bell Canada made the handset available for the first time outside the U.S. today.

The Pre sells for $200 and requires a three-year contract, which must include a minimum data plan of 500 MB. Canadians can find the Pre in Bell stores and online.

Sprint made the Pre available to U.S. customers in June. A report this week indicates it will debut in the U.K. on Oct.. 30.
